This package is designed for students who want to combine Spanish instruction with volunteer work. The volunteering can be arranged to coincide with the language program, or to begin after you’ve acquired the necessary Spanish skills for the work.

If you would like your language learning to coincide with your volunteer work, the language lessons and volunteering will be split into half-days, Monday through Friday.

Some projects allow you to continue your accommodation and/or your language instruction at Gaia, while others may require you to move to their on-site accommodation.

Notes:
If we do not meet the minimum number of students per class for your ability group, your lessons may be replaced by 120 minutes per day of private one-on-one lessons ( at no extra cost).
There may be additional lodging costs If your volunteer project requires that you move to its on-site accommodations, after ending the program with us.

    We welcome new students to join us every Monday, all year round. If you need to start on a different day of the week, please contact us.
  • Group lessons +

    Our lessons are taught in small groups, with a maximum of six students. Private lessons are available on request.Group lessons consist of 20 academic hours. These are divided into four daily lessons ( 45 min. each) from Monday to Friday. If we do not meet the minimum number of students per class for your ability group, your lessons may be replaced by 120 minutes per day of private one-on-one lessons ( at no extra cost).

    Private lessons, available upon request, consist of 20 academic hours. These are divided into four daily lessons ( 45 min. each) Monday through Friday.There is an additional charge of US $120 per week.
  • Schedules +

    Spanish lessons could be done in the morning or in the afternoon as well as in mix schedules, all depending of the school necessities and availability.
  • Methodology +

    Our teachers combine theory and practice, addressing all of the linguistic and functional aspects of the spoken language, along with socio-cultural information essential for gaining proficiency. Grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking and vocabulary are integrated in order to prepare students for an authentic communicative environment.

  • Study Materials +

    All study materials are provided by the school. We recommend bringing your own dictionary, pen and any additional reference or text books ( optional) of your choice.
  • National Holidays +

    Lessons and/or activities may be canceled and non-refundable on holidays. If two days of holiday occur within one week, only one day is subject to be canceled.Volunteer work is generally subject to national holidays. National Holidays 2015: December, Friday 25 - Christmas.
